Winchester New For 2023

We're only days into 2023 and so far Winchester has announced several new ammo products and line expansions. First up is its Big Bore center-fire pistol offerings that feature a newly engineered semi-jacketed, concave hollow point that controls and delays expansion. Available in the pistol calibers popularly carried in the backcountry, Big Bore ammunition was designed to offer consistent expansion, massive energy deposit and most importantly, trusted functioning. Winchester Big Bore ammunition for hunting and personal defense gives individuals the confidence needed for any situation. Because in the backcountry, little is left to chance.

Big Bore Ammunition Features:

  • Available in 10 mm Automatic, .357 Mag., .44 Rem. Mag, and .45 Colt
  • Reliable expansion on big game and for personal defense situations
  • Newly engineered concave hollow point
  • Deep penetration of semi-jacketed hollow point design controls expansion

Next in the lineup is ammo for one of the most collectable firearms in the world, the M1 Garand rifle. The Garand has become an iconic symbol of the greatest generation’s fight for freedom during World War II, but many of these rifles have become safe relics. Even though the .30-06 ammo originally designed for it has become one of the most popular hunting cartridges still to this day, it has been modernized and improved to be flatter shooting for modern hunting rifles while departing from the original design.

Now Winchester is addressing those M1 enthusiasts who want to get to the range with their collectable war-time rifles, introducing a reduced-pressure .30-06 ammunition that has been optimized for use in M1 Garands. Featuring a 150-gr. Ball M2 round nose bullet with slower burning powders, the new M1 Garand ammunition offers the ideal incentive to un-retire these special rifles.

And finally, Winchester is committed to honoring America’s warfighters and first responders by expanding its USA Valor line of ammunition. This expanded collection of patriotic, limited-edition ammunition is now available in .300 Blackout, 12-gauge No. 7.5 and No. 8-shot, and 20-gauge No. 7.5-shot.

Winchester USA Valor ammunition helps support Folds of Honor, a U.S. Veteran’s cause dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of America’s heroes, while giving hope to the bearers of their legacy in the form of educational scholarships.

“Winchester continues to demonstrate its commitment to veterans and first responders across the country with the expansion of USA Valor limited edition ammunition,” said Matt Campbell, vice president of sales and marketing. “It’s a privilege to extend our support to Folds of Honor and support their mission.”

From World War I through modern day deployments, Winchester remains steadfast in its support of U.S. warfighters. In addition to supplying the U.S. warfighter with the ammunition they depend upon; Winchester also generously supports military and veteran causes as a way to thank those who serve and to honor the memory of the fallen.
