Neither women will be charged in two recent incidents in which they fatally shot their attackers, both of which were determined to be in self-defense. In the first incident, a woman defended herself against a 38-year-old man in her home at 2 a.m. (kmov.com, St. Louis, Mo., 08/20/21) In the second incident, a man was fatally shot at a hotel in Columbia, South Carolina on a Friday night. (wistv.com, Columbia, S.C., 09/10/21)
