NRA’s Refuse To Be A Victim® program teaches the tips and techniques you need to be alerted to dangerous situations and to avoid criminal confrontation. Seminars are held across the nation and are open to individuals of all ages.

Today, thousands of federal, state and local law enforcement officials and civilians from across the nation utilize this popular program in their crime prevention and community policing initiatives to help protect their communities. Corporations, educational institutions and community centers have also adopted the program.

All told, more than 120,000 people have benefited from these seminars.

If you’re curious about firearms, Women On Target® is the perfect place to start. These instructional shooting clinics are designed to teach you firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship, giving you the confidence you need to safely operate a firearm upon completion.

Women On Target® clinics are available only to women — it’s a safe and friendly environment whether you’re picking up a gun for the very first time, or are just brushing off some dust and need a little refresher.

You’ll immediately feel at ease in the half- or full-day clinics, and will be provided with a hands-on, one-of-a-kind experience. No experience or equipment is necessary to participate.

The NRA Women's Wilderness Escape is an opportunity for women ages 18 and older, of all different skill levels, to explore and learn about shooting, hunting and the outdoors with some of our most skilled NRA Certified Instructors and best outdoor specialists.

They will guide you each step of the way and teach you safe and proper usage and handling of firearms, as well as help prepare you for your own adventures. No experience is necessary; all equipment, lodging and meals are included.

America’s most bright, ambitious, and patriotic youth journey to our nation's capital each summer for a week of fun they'll never forget. Students engage with political leaders, visit historical monuments, and apply their skills in competitive debates, all to enrich and inspire the future of our nation. 

The mission of the Y.E.S. program is to help students explore our American government, Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution, while encouraging them to become responsible citizens who participate in the democratic process and return to their community with a proactive voice for the Second Amendment.

NRA's Youth Hunter Education Challenge (YHEC) provides a fun environment for kids 18 and under to improve their hunting, marksmanship and safety skills.

Through its simulated hunting situations, live fire exercises, educational and responsibility events, YHEC helps build upon skills learned in basic hunter education courses and encourages safer, lifelong hunting habits.

From rifle, bow and muzzleloader shooting at life-sized targets, to wildlife identification, map and compass orienteering and more, YHEC participants can get hands-on training in eight skill areas, giving them expertise in all methods of take and all types of game.
