New Guns 2024: Walther PD380 Pistol

The new PD380 is an improvement over the company's earlier PK380, with features designed to make it an attractive defensive option.

Walther Arms has updated its .380 line-up with the new PD380, an improvement over the company's earlier PK380 with features designed to make it an attractive defensive option for those who are recoil-averse or have trouble racking more traditionally build CCW guns. Notably, the Walther PD380 combines a locked-breech action with an external hammer, reducing the racking force required to make the gun ready to fire. The single-stack magazine configuration also reduces the amount of spring tension a shooter will encounter when loading the magazine, making it easier to load and shoot.
