Women for Gun Rights (WGR) held it most impactful Fly-In to date on June 22, 2025, bringing in delegates representing more than 40 states to the nation’s capital to sharpen their skills, speak up for the Second Amendment, and ensure that lawmakers heard directly from the fastest-growing group of gun owners in America.
In addition to state directors, a select group of social media personalities were invited to help reach new audiences beyond the traditional firearms community. With a combined reach of more than 2 million followers, WGR magnified its message, resulting in hundreds of thousands of online impressions.
“We the Free,” America’s newest 2A friendly streaming platform, also filmed a mini docu-series highlighting the Fly-In and several delegates of the organization. The series will premiere later this year on wethefree.com.
“This is what impactful advocacy looks like—showing up with the same intensity and visibility as the opposition,” said Dianna Muller, Founder of Women for Gun Rights. “By doing so, we’re not only influencing lawmakers, but also shifting public perception. We’re actively reshaping the narrative around firearms and responsible gun ownership.”
Equipping Women to Lead
The Fly-In began with a comprehensive training conference focused on empowering women to advocate with clarity, credibility, and confidence.
Sessions covered:
- The History of the Second Amendment, including major court rulings and federal legislation
- Communicating Across Divides, training delegates to connect with those unfamiliar with firearms ownership
- Digital Advocacy, equipping women to combat misinformation and amplify real-world stories online
Rally on Capitol Hill
Delegates and members of the Virginia Citizens Defense League braved triple-digit heat to rally on the grounds of our nation’s capital. With the iconic Capitol dome as their backdrop, speakers delivered powerful remarks on why they support the Second Amendment and choose to be their own first responders.
More than 100 Meetings on Capitol Hill
In just two days, Women for Gun Rights delegates conducted more than 100 meetings with Members of Congress and staff. In every conversation—whether with allies or skeptics—they brought facts, lived experience, and respect.
Legislation Supported by WGR:
- Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act (H.R. 38 / S. 65)

Meeting with the White House
Delegates met with the White House Domestic Policy Council, where they urged the administration to:
- Create a Second Amendment Advisory Board made up of experts from law enforcement, mental health, and the firearms community
- Reinstate the CDC’s 2013 research on defensive gun use, which estimates up to 2 million crimes are prevented each year by lawful firearm owners
- Recognize shooting sports champions at the White House during National Shooting Sports Month
WGR Delegates raised concerns about continued online censorship of 2A content and discrimination against lawful firearm businesses in the financial system. They emphasized Women for Gun Rights’ readiness to serve as a partner and trusted voice in policy conversations.
