A 40-year-old man is deceased after he confronted a woman with whom he had a previous domestic relationship. The man, armed with a handgun, went to the woman's home to confront her, where a struggle ensued. In fear for her life, the woman was able to retrieve her own gun. She fired one fatal shot at her aggressor, hitting him in the chest. She then ran to a neighbor’s house for help. No charges were filed to date, and the investigation continues.
