NRA Women The Armed Citizen Drawing A Pistol

A woman acted heroically when a man wearing a gas mask and armed with several guns entered her workplace office. The intruder—the woman’s husband—confronted her all the while pointing a shotgun at the other employees. At one point he set down his shotgun, giving his wife’s brave desk-mate a split-second opportunity to pick it up. Upon realizing his mistake, the man drew one of his pistols, but not before the woman shot him with his own gun. He returned fire, hitting the courageous woman in the arm. By her quick thinking and bravery, the woman saved the lives of her co-workers. She underwent surgery for the injury, while her supervisor and colleagues anxiously awaited her return. However, the would-be burglars did not expect to met at the door by the woman, who had retrieved her handgun. The suspects fled in an SUV that had been staged for a getaway in nearby bushes. The incident was confirmed by a neighbor, who had also notified police after spotting the men on the porch and in the bushes. The vehicle was eventually stopped by police, in which backpacks, masks, a large knife and marijuana were discovered. The suspects, all in their 20s, were charged with various crimes.
