A Mobile, Alabama, woman who feared for her life shot her ex-boyfriend after he kicked in her apartment door just after midnight. Police responded to a domestic violence burglary complaint when they learned that the man burst into the woman’s home while armed. It was then that she fired at him. The man suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital. He was set to be booked into jail once released from hospital. (fox10tv.com; Mobile, Ala.; 2/20/24)
