Women Of The Wild

Here at NRA Women every month is Women’s History Month, but that doesn’t mean we can’t spend some extra time enjoying the history of women in the outdoors this March. Waypoint TV, an online streaming channel, is celebrating you with its Women of the Outdoors special. Running all this March on Thursday nights from 8pm until 11pm EST, Women of the Outdoors is free to watch on just about any platform you use.

“Long before the outdoor ‘industry’ was created, women were hunting, fishing and adventuring right alongside our male friends and family,” says Waypoint TV Manager Katherine Brookshire.  “However, it’s taken some time to see women equally or accurately represented in most outdoor content … I’m excited to tune into Women of The Wild right alongside our viewers,” she continues.

Expect to meet both familiar outdoor celebrities and new ones! Here’s the marquee: Meredith McCord, Taylor Sanders, April Vokey, Emily & Amanda from Gale Force, Mandy Uhrich, Natalie Dillon and Nicole Stone, Addy Campbell, Britt Longoria, Ashton Mallette, Jessica Byers, Margit Axelrad, Misty Wells, Astrid de Gruchy, Chasten Whitfield, Gina Brunson, Stevie Kim-Rubell, Alex Woodsum, Shay Doll & Heidi Nute, Caylan Climspon and more.

“Women in the outdoor industry bring balance, conversation, and perspective. They’re more than just the other half of an economic calculation—they’re the half that transforms the “industry” into a community instead,” says April Vokey, host of Anchored Outdoors.

Adds Waypoint CEO Builder Brock, “Women are the fastest growing demographic in hunting and fishing. We’ve noticed this trend firsthand, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. We’re proud to use our platform with Waypoint TV to highlight some of the badass 'women of the wild' this month and beyond.”

Tune in to watch on the Waypoint TV App, WaypointTV.com, Samsung TV Plus (Channel 1184), SLING®, VIZIO (Channel 258), Local Now (Channel 480), PLEX (Channel 141) and more or wherever you stream content.
