Remington has issued the following safety recall notice:

WARNING—Official Safety Recall Notice

DO NOT USE REMINGTON CORE-LOKT TIPPED 300 WIN MAG 180 GRAIN AMMUNITION FROM LOTS: N16OCA373, N17OAA373 OR N22OCA373

Use of this product may result in firearm damage and/or personal injury.

Remington Ammunition has determined that certain boxes of lot codes: N16OCA373, N17OAA373, or N22OCA373 300 Win Mag 180 grain Core-Lokt Tipped – RT300WC, may contain shells with an incorrect propellant. No other 300 Win Mag Core-Lokt Tipped lot codes are affected by this notice.

The product lot codes can be found on the inside flap of the individual box or along the outside of a product case. No other codes are affected by this issue. Example:

If you possess ammunition from this lot code, immediately discontinue use of this ammunition and contact Remington at 1-800-243-9700. Remington Ammunition Consumer Service Department will arrange for the return shipment of your ammunition and upon receipt will send you replacement ammunition at no cost to you.
