If you've been an NRA Woman for long, you've no doubt heard of MidwayUSA. But have you heard of the MidwayUSA Foundation or of its benefactors, Larry and Brenda Potterfield? The MidwayUSA Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity working to sustain and grow youth shooting sports by providing long-term funding to youth shooting teams, and the Foundation is incredibly effective at doing so. The most recent news on the MidwayUSA Foundation front is that there's a whole new way to support the youth shooting team of your choice: online auctions for terrific prizes.

These live, online auctions are made possible through a partnership with Eventgroove. The very first item to be auctioned? A Walther P22 Nickel Pistol! This online auction began January 3 and will close January 9, 2022. Although the majority of these auctions will be rolled out on a monthly basis, there’s one more auction coming out this January: chances to be part of an exclusive pheasant hunt with Larry and Brenda Potterfield at Pheasant Bonanza in Tekamah, Nebraska. Visit https://musaf.fundyouthshootingsports.org/ to view the current and upcoming auctions offered by MidwayUSA Foundation.

Every donation to a shooting team’s respective endowment grows that team’s annual cash grant. Cash grants provide crucial funds to offset the many expenses youth shooting teams incur. Covering the cost of ammunition, competition fees, targets, or travel can allow more young athletes the chance to participate in shooting sports. Many of these shooting sports athletes become future hunters and conservationists. Every winning bid is a donation to the endowment of the auction winner’s choice and like other donations made to youth shooting team and organizational endowments, these donations will also be matched through the Matching Program, funded by Larry and Brenda Potterfield.
