Jessie Harrison's latest United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Championship marks the 21st Ladies National title for the Team Taurus Captain. Harrison also took first place in the Ladies Open division.

“Never have I been challenged as hard as I was in preparation for this match and during the match itself,” Harrison said on her Facebook page, crediting the high quality of competitors that required her to give it her all. "From an extremely challenging match to the strongest field of ladies the sport has seen in a while, this match definitely pushed me to compete at a higher level,” she said. “I couldn’t be more excited for this title, and it’s an honor to have earned it!” Harrison added that with the 2020 shooting season having been affected so much by COVID, "It was great to be at a major championship again!”

Harrison acknowledged those on her team for contributing to her success. “Anyone who has earned this position knows that it’s not something you achieve on your own, it takes a team of supporters and I have the best team of all!” she said.

This year's 2020 USPSA Race Gun Nationals was held Oct. 23-25 at the Universal Shooting Academy in Frostproof, Florida. The USPSA, the U.S. governing body under the International Practical Shooting Confederation, is the country's largest practical shooting organization.
