A woman’s ex-boyfriend broke into her home at 2 a.m. and began assaulting her while she was asleep in bed. Abruptly awakened and in fear for her life, the woman was able to shoot him with her pistol. A man entered a store around 11:30 p.m. armed with a knife. He attacked the clerk in an attempt to rob her. However, the woman was armed with a gun and shot the suspect multiple times.
