Daniel Defense Sponsors Nra World Shooting Championship

The National Rifle Association of America (NRA) has announced Daniel Defense as an official sponsor of the 2025 NRA World Shooting Championship, returning to Camp Atterbury, Indiana, from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4, 2025.

The NRA World Shooting Championship (WSC) is one of the most prestigious and comprehensive multi-discipline competitions in the world. Designed to test the skills of professional and amateur shooters alike, the event spans a wide range of shooting disciplines—including pistol, rifle, shotgun, and combined arms stages—over several days of competition. All firearms, ammunition, and optics are provided to ensure a level playing field for every competitor.

“The NRA is thrilled to have Daniel Defense sign on as a sponsor of this year’s NRA World Shooting Championship,” said Josh Savani, Executive Director of NRA General Operations. “Competitors will be tested with the precision rich features on rifles designed by Daniel Defense as they aim to be crowned the ‘World’s Best Shooter.’ ”

This year, Daniel Defense will sponsor the Precision Rifle Series stage, supplying their Delta 5 Pro Rifles.

Stage 11 – PRS: Competitors will run a fast-paced PRS stage fired under rules from the sport’s governing body, Precision Rifle Series. Competitors will engage steel flash targets beyond 400 yards from the PRS barricade using a Delta 5 Pro rifle chambered in 6.5CM outfitted with a Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5x25 scope.

Daniel Defense has provided six of their new DD PCC 916 rifle chambered in 9mm to be included on the prize table, which will offer a total value nearing $250,000—  this prize table is available to both amateur and professional shooters.

Sponsorship opportunities in support of NRA competitive shooting programs are available. Individuals, companies, and organizations interested can contact Steve Kupcha, Managing Director of NRA Corporate Partnerships, at [email protected].
