What a MasterPiece! Well, the MasterPiece Arms Regional Precision Rifle Shooting (PRS) Match certainly was, and the top artist was Team Berger’s Missy Gilliland. Gilliland painted 85 out of a possible 100 bullseyes during the May 1 match, taking both first place and Top Lady. That means Gilliland's work of art was "best in show" regardless of whether the shooter was male or female.

Some art is easy; other art is much more difficult. Gilliland says, "We had a lot of difficult winds that day, but I focused on the mirage, the environment and trusted my Berger bullets and Kestrel wind meter. I went into this match with a different mindset. I was calm and kept telling myself to slow down. It definitely paid off in the end and I was thrilled to take the win.”

Wind conditions can absolutely play hob with long-range, precision shooting. What's more, winning a match in windy weather requires much more than a moistened thumb in the breeze. When you're shooting at targets you can barely see without a scope, every tiny detail counts. For Gilliland, she relies on her GA Precision rifle chambered in 6mm Creedmoor with Berger 105-gr. Hybrid Target projectiles loaded in Lapua cases.

Berger’s Hybrid Target projectiles feature an optimized hybrid-ogive design which easily tunes to your rifle, offers superior exterior ballistics, and high Ballistic Coefficients (BC’s). Berger BC’s are Doppler verified with less than 1% BC variation (no BS, they’re not inflated BC’s either), providing the highest long range hit-percentage of any projectile.
