Golden Bullseye 2025 Anne Mauro Acceptance

Anne Mauro accepted her NRA Golden Bullseye Award for NRA Industry Woman of the Year at an invitation-only breakfast that took place during the 154th NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Atlanta, Georgia, April 25, 2025. The following remarks are from her acceptance speech:

“‘Aim at a high mark and you will hit it. No, not the first time, not the second and maybe not the third. But keep on aiming and keep shooting for only practice will make you perfect. Finally, you’ll hit the Bulls Eye of Success.’ —Annie Oakley

I have great faith. My parents taught me there was nothing I couldn’t do if I put my mind to it. As a University of Maryland alum, being Fearless in one’s endeavors was instilled and the unwavering support from my husband, Michael, have helped mold me to think outside-the-box, don’t settle, and be the best in everything I do.

My years of being passionately purpose-driven in my coaching, designing shotguns, rifles and programs for women, and support of our Second Amendment have led me to be here today.

It is a true honor to be recognized with the prestigious NRA Golden Bullseye award with my family, friends, and colleagues present.

I am grateful to all the men and women who believed in me and my talents to be a driving force within the firearm industry allowing me to be Fearless in my passion to make a positive impact.

“Well, I figure if a girl wants to be a legend, she should just go ahead and be one.”—Calamity Jane

I encourage each of you to continue your personal and professional journey, being a legend within your own realm and in support of our Second Amendment.  Together we will reach the Bullseye of Success.

Thank you for this tremendous honor in recognition of my years of dedicated hard work that truly comes from my heart.

—Anne Mauro
