A movement long championed by the NRA, constitutional carry eliminates the need for government permission before a law-abiding individual can exercise their right to bear arms. Read more here!

If you have children at home and you own firearms, you likely have already encountered the extreme curiosity factor. Kids are naturally curious about everything, and of course that goes double for anything they’re told not to touch—like your firearm collection. Here’s how you teach your kids gun safety from the beginning without giving them the impression that guns are scary or dangerous.

Betty Reid Soskin, the National Park Service’s (NPS) oldest active ranger, retired this week after a decade and a half of sharing her personal experiences and the efforts of women from diverse backgrounds who worked on the World War II Home Front. Soskin, who celebrated her 100th birthday in September 2021, spent her last day providing an interpretive program to the public and visiting with coworkers at Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park. A shared vision has brought together a firearm industry powerhouse and a fast-growing leader in concealed-carry apparel. Springfield Armory, which has long had a mission to enable responsible citizens to preserve their right to keep and bear arms, has announced a partnership with Alexo Athletica, which was founded in 2017 to help empower active women to #carrywithconfidence

A flinch is an involuntary, erratic movement of the body (usually the finger, arm, head or entire torso) upon engaging the trigger. In extreme cases, you might fail to pull the trigger at all. You don’t intend to do it, and you might not know you are doing it, but if a flinch is present, the results will show on your targets. Here's how to fix (or at least mitigate) the problem

Farm-to-table is probably the hottest trend in the culinary world, and for good reason. As we've all learned recently, local sources of food are independent of national shipping delays; it's fresher and requires less fuel to get it to your home. Thing is, hunters have known since time immemorial that if you want to eat locally grown, ethically harvested, naturally healthy protein, you can just hunt it yourself. That's where the Field to Fork program, having just wrapped up its sixth year, comes in. The 2021 participation numbers are in, and they're very encouraging indeed.
