At the top of our lineup this week is, naturally, the conflict in Ukraine. Major American ammunition makers continue to donate large quantities of ammo and charitable contributions in an effort to support the Armed Forces in Ukraine. Read more about who (and how much) here

There are situations where it doesn’t help the Second Amendment and firearms to beat someone over the head with your love for it. We will have conversations in our lifetime that range from our significant other, to those who don’t understand why we love firearms, to the people we might never persuade to see our perspective. So here are a few thoughts to help you share what you love, especially with those you are closest to, without causing people to wish they’d “swiped left.”

Your NRA has been on the move to protect your rights here in America. The National Rifle Association’s Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) has partnered with Safari Club International, Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation, and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and filed motions to intervene in and dismiss a lawsuit challenging the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s decision to expand hunting and fishing opportunities on more than 2.3 million acres of land at 106 National Wildlife Refuges. That's not all we've been up to! The National Rifle Association Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA) today applauds Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey for signing House Bill 272, NRA-backed legislation that allows law-abiding Alabamians to carry a handgun for personal protection without paying a tax or obtaining a license from the state. Can you ship a gun? Yes! Mailing a gun isn’t overly difficult, but it can be a real pain if you don’t know the tricks to doing it properly. You can’t just slap a label on a gun and ship it to whoever you want. Here’s how to ship a gun, legally.

Let’s be real: We can’t always get to the range as much as we’d like. We’re busy! Our weekends are full of other obligations, and ammo isn’t exactly abundant these days anyway. While there’s no real substitute for live-fire training, there are plenty of ways you can train at home—for free.
