To honor women hunters—the fastest-growing demographic in the hunting community—Safari Club International is "Celebrating Women in Hunting" during its annual convention, Feb. 22-25, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.

SCI and the SCI Foundation have been major promoters of women in hunting for many years., The She Hunts Skills Camp, created by Brittany Boddington, provides women a space to develop skills and build confidence in their abilities in the outdoors. The camp’s goal is to help educate women about hunting, to be successful hunters and pass their knowledge on to the next generation.

Additionally, SCI Foundation's Sables program is women-led, focusing on understanding our outdoor heritage, including the role of hunting, through wildlife and conservation education programs. The annual Sables Luncheon and Auction will take place Feb. 24 in Nashville during the 2023 SCI Convention.

"SCI is thrilled to celebrate women in hunting and we invite all hunters to celebrate with us in Nashville at our 51st Annual Convention,” said SCI CEO W. Laird Hamberlin. “Women are the fastest-growing group of hunters, and their engagement is critical to the future of hunting."
