Smith & Wesson has been guarding NRA Women since about 15 years before the NRA’s founding, and that entire 165-year history has been marked by S&W’s honor and respect for America’s service members. To celebrate America’s guardians, the venerable gun manufacturer just expanded its famous American Guardians Program. This program offers valuable discounts on dozens of models of Smith & Wesson firearms.

What’s new for the American Guardians Program is that the company has expanded eligibility in an effort to better support the men and women who serve the nation. Long a source of top-quality firepower for America’s law enforcement, military and first responders, the American Guardians Program now includes all veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces with an honorably discharged DD-214.

If you qualify to enjoy the benefits of the American Guardians Program, getting your discounted firearm is easy. Just go Smith & Wesson’s Dealer Locator (which is here) and search by ZIP code. The American Guardians Program encompasses a wide variety of Smith & Wesson guns, including 53 unique models that are only available to professional end-users. Discounts on firearms included in this program vary by model, so ask your preferred American Guardians retailer for pricing details.

Smith & Wesson's commitment to supporting American service members is certainly easy to understand, and even more so when you realize that the American Guardians Program is the brainchild of retired service members who make up the backbone of S&W. Matthew Fehmel, Senior Director of Global Professional & International Sales, and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps himself, said, “This program is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to military, law enforcement, and first responders. We want to offer our gratitude to those Americans who have answered the call to service and have sacrificed so much to keep us all safe and free.”
