NRA Women The Armed Citizen Pistol

Two heavily hooded and masked assailants forced their way through a back door to a family home in Florida one night. One of the men began beating the father with a pistol, and the other grabbed the 11-year-old daughter. That’s when the eight-month pregnant mother ran to the bedroom to retrieve an AR-15, which they legally owned. As one man retreated to the back door, the mother took sight of him shot him once. He was able to escape out the back door but was later found dead in a ditch 200 feet away. The second assailant fled the scene. The father suffered a fractured eye socket, a fractured sinus cavity, a concussion, and required 20 stitches and three staples in his head. However, the mother saved the lives of her husband, daughter, and unborn child. (washingtonexaminer.com, Tampa, Fl., 11/3/19)
