Two children heard strange sounds while playing in their suburban Alabama home. When they peaked around and saw a strange woman in the house, they immediately alerted their mother, who was taking a bath. She ordered her children to flee the house, while she retrieved her handgun. The mother confronted the female intruder, and during a struggle for the firearm, the homeowner shot the intruder in the stomach.
