A Missouri woman was sitting in her car when she was approached by a group of four young males. The oldest one feigned being lost and asked for directions, then displayed a gun and demanded she give him her vehicle. The woman refused to leave her car, and instead drew her own firearm, which caused the group of young thugs to flee on foot. Police later apprehended the teenage suspects—whose ages were 17, 15, 15 and 11. A firearm was recovered from one of the 15-year-olds, and police charged him as an adult with armed criminal action and attempted robbery. The other three suspects are facing charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, while one of the minors was also charged with possession of alcohol. The victim told local media that she believed she encountered the same four youths in the parking lot of a convenience store earlier that day, and that one of the now suspects asked her a question but she was able to get in her car and leave. A 50-year-old man was assaulting a woman until she was able to access her firearm and shoot him. When police arrived, they took the abuser into custody on multiple charges, including domestic battery and attempted strangulation. The victim was taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the incident. The woman was determined to have acted in self-defense of her life and will not face charges.
