A woman and her boyfriend were driving their Rolls-Royce SUV while shooting a music video. An armed mugger attempted to rob the man of his Rolex watch. Fearing for her boyfriend’s life, the woman drew her firearm and traded fire with the mugger. The assailant fled, leaving property damage but no injuries. Witnesses and home surveillance cameras confirmed the couple’s version of events. Police are still searching for the gunman. (click2Houston.com, Houston, Tex., 04/06/21)

A 32-year-old man broke into a Philadelphia home at 3 a.m. on a Sunday. Two women were in the house at the time. One was able to retrieve her legally registered firearm. She shot the intruder in the thigh, critically wounding him. The suspect was taken to the hospital; both women were unharmed.
