Turnbull Browning BL 22 And Buck Mark

We at NRAWomen.com have long admired the works of Turnbull Restoration Co., Inc., a company best known globally for its ability to take even the most damaged collectible firearm and return it to its original look, feel and function, with authentic period-correct metal finishes. The final products are nothing short of stunning works of art. If there is a downside, it is that these restored collectibles often remain locked away, safe from the elements or excessive handling, but lacking the admiration deserving of their unique, striking aesthetics.

That is why we were thrilled when, a few years ago, the company began to offer a line of new production firearms that incorporate the same quality and finishes as the collectibles they are famous for restoring. Its latest models in the Turnbull Finished series include those that are often seen on the recreational shooting line—.22-cal. plinkers and target models from Ruger and Browning that are fun for young shooters and adults alike. The Turnbull finishes add an entire new level of class worthy of all NRA Women.

The newest in this series of color case hardened models finished featuring Turnbull’s signature bone charcoal methods are Browning’s BL-22 lever-action rifle with a case hardened receiver, ($900); and the famous Browning Buck Mark, which features a case hardened barreled action and rosewood grips ($750).

A third model is the new 10” Ruger Mark IV. “When we saw the length of this barrel, we knew we had to add it to the line,” said company founder and CEO Doug Turnbull. “Think of all the colors you could get on that!” The Ruger is offered at $825 or $975 for the threaded barrel model that can accept a suppressor.

All three of these new models are available directly from Turnbull Restoration. As with other offerings in the Turnbull Finished lineup, the new models are made-to-order with an 8 to 10 week delivery time. Limited runs will be added to Turnbull’s ready-to-ship program as availability allows, and subscribers to Turnbull’s weekly newsletter will be notified first.

And if you are in the market for an authentic vintage firearm, Turnbull has available many iconic brands from private collections that Turnbull has purchased and inspected, cleaned and restored where needed. Please visit TurnbullRestoration.com for more information.
