From a Women for Gun Rights press release:

Women for Gun Rights celebrated a landmark evening Saturday as women and men from across the country gathered at the Hilton Washington, D.C. Capitol Hill for the organization's inaugural National Summit Gala.

The gala served as a powerful culmination of the first day of Women for Gun Rights' 2026 National Summit in Washington, D.C., bringing together advocates, 2A leaders, and supporters united by a shared commitment to protecting the right to keep and bear arms.

The evening was a milestone for an organization founded on the belief that women have a critical voice in the national conversation surrounding the Second Amendment.

"Ten years ago, Women for Gun Rights began with 14 women who came to Washington, D.C., wondering whether our voices could make a difference," said Dianna Muller, founder of Women for Gun Rights. "Tonight, we came back to our nation's capital—and we are no longer wondering. We know what these women can accomplish, and we are just getting started."

The evening featured a dynamic panel discussion bringing together voices from across the firearms and Second Amendment communities. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Director Robert Cekada was joined by retired professional MMA fighter Michelle Waterson-Gomez and social media personality Vanessa Rosa. The discussion was moderated by Cheryl Todd of Gun Freedom Radio.

The panel highlighted the increasingly diverse voices contributing to the Second Amendment movement and the importance of women taking an active role in education, advocacy, self-defense, and civic engagement.

But the heart of the evening was the women in the room.

From statehouses and congressional offices to classrooms, media platforms, firearms training facilities, and communities across the country, Women for Gun Rights supporters have spent the past decade turning their convictions into action. The inaugural gala provided an opportunity to recognize that work while looking ahead to the next chapter of the organization's mission.

"Women are not on the sidelines of this conversation," Muller said. "We are leading it. We are educating our communities, showing up in our statehouses, speaking to our neighbors, and making sure the next generation understands what is at stake. What happened in this room tonight is a reflection of that momentum."

The National Summit continued through September 14 in Washington, D.C., giving attendees additional opportunities to engage with lawmakers, advocates, and fellow Second Amendment supporters.

Women for Gun Rights is a nationwide organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and mobilizing women to safeguard the Second Amendment. The organization's 2026 National Summit brings that mission directly to the nation's capital, providing women with the knowledge, connections, and tools to become more effective advocates for their rights.
