Six months ago, Federal Ammunition announced a groundbreaking sweepstakes to celebrate its 100th anniversary. As we reported at the time, this was to be one of the largest sweepstakes in company history, with over 54,000 rounds of ammunition reserved for the winner. The sweepstakes are over, and Tom from Arkansas has been announced as the prize winner.

The giveaway event ran during the spring and summer months of 2022. Ammunition included in the prize package highlights some of Federal’s most popular loads in the most popular cartridges: Top Gun 12-Gauge shotshells, Range Target Practice 9mm Luger, American Eagle .223 Rem., and more.

“I give my sincerest thanks to Federal Ammunition for this undeserving prize,” said Tom. “This ammunition will be a blessing to both my family and friends. But beyond that, it will also be used by my son’s high school trap team.”

Of course, Federal's anniversary runs this entire year, and there's plenty of 2022 left ... and Federal promises more cool content, surprises and fun. Federal's anniversary website is dropping fascinating stories and videos from the company's last 100 years, such as this awesome insider's tour of the Federal factory.

“This sweepstakes was a great way to accentuate Federal’s 100-year anniversary celebration,” said Federal’s Director of Marketing, Brian Anderson. “The scope of the ammunition included in the prize package showcases the wide range of ammunition and innovation throughout Federal’s 100-year history. This was a fun sweepstakes event, and we congratulate the winner.”
