Safe Living Tour Fort Stewart

Safe LivinG, in collaboration with the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) will bring its free, hands-on immersion into firearms safety, responsible gun ownership and suicide prevention to Fort Stewart in Georgia on September 11-12 as part of its 2026 Grand Safety Tour. The Safe LivinG experience offers attendees a unique opportunity to engage in various activities centered around personal security, situational awareness and firearms safety.

"The Military community understands that preparedness, safety and responsibility go hand in hand," said Karen Butler, president of SLG2, Inc. "This mindset is incredibly important when it comes to firearms. I'm so proud of this collaboration with AAFES that enables us to reach this community and provide practical information on firearms safety."

The centerpiece of the experience is Safe LivinG's fully enclosed tractor-trailer mobile range. Inside the mobile range, guests aged 18 and older can participate in an instructor-led experience focused on safe firearm handling using a FATS by Inveris military-grade simulator that provides realistic feedback in a controlled environment.

There are also opportunities to review firearms from top manufacturers and learn about the importance of responsible firearm handling and safe storage. Safe LivinG also aims to raise awareness about self-defense tools, such as SABRE pepper spray and Streamlight flashlights, through interactive demonstrations. The organization encourages families to bring their children along for a dedicated firearm safety discussion tailored specifically for young attendees.

Since 1895, AFFES has provided goods and services to the U.S. Army, Air Force and Space Force installations worldwide. It is the 51st largest retailer in the United States, providing valued goods and services at exclusive military pricing for soldiers, airmen, guardians and their families. One hundred percent of the earnings support military communities.

The Safe LivinG experience will be stationed at Fort Stewart on Friday, September 11 and Saturday, September 12 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Both new and experienced shooters, along with their families, are invited to attend this exciting event.
