Federal Podcast Focused On Accuracy

World champion competitive shooter Julie Golob has had a busy month. Not only did she walk away from the 2022 Bianchi Cup Championship with the Women’s Team Gold Medal, she was also the Women’s Silver Medalist, and placed 20th Overall in the Open Division. NRA Women congratulates Julie on this latest winning accomplishment!

Off the competitive shooting field, you can hear Golob guest hosting the Federal Premium podcast, “It’s Federal Season,” which has a compelling lineup of guests. In episode No. 35, “Focused on Accuracy,” competitive shooter and Federal ambassador Krystal Dunn talks about the shooting sports, the 2A movement, and her ownership of a beauty salon. A great discussion on the career path of a decorated competitive shooter who finds time to own and operate a business while maintaining a practice regimen to be an elite shooter. You can catch the entire episode here.

“Krystal has a great story and very relatable as most competitive shooters have to balance a job that pays the bills and a passion that brings purpose,” said Golob. “Krystal shares tips on how to get involved in competitive shooting, some training tips and what types of matches a beginner should seek out.”

In the Tech Talk segment, Dunn reveals her thoughts on the age-old question in competitive shooting: Where is the sweet spot between speed and accuracy? As Dunn expands into the rifle series, she also lists her favorite Federal cartridges for practice and competition.

If this podcast leaves you wanting more, say no more. Episode No. 34 is equally intriguing, as Golob hosts “Golden Moments,” connecting with Olympic champion Amber English. These two accomplished shooters talk about Amber’s experience in Tokyo, getting started in shooting, and what’s next for the Olympian.

And of course, who can resist a conversation with Hickok45. Check out episode No. 33, “Gun Talk with Hickok45,” as they discuss a day in the life of the YouTube legend, how he started making his videos, and his favorite cartridges to shoot at the range. You don’t want to miss this epic episode.
