Benelli is redefining the upper edge of the 828U over-under platform with the introduction of three all-new 828U SuperSport A.I. models.
Developed as the ultimate over-under clay-crusher, the 828U SuperSport A.I. is built around Benelli’s Advanced Impact (A.I.) barrel technology—a decisive advancement that delivered tighter shot strings and patterns with up to 50 percent deeper penetration and increased velocity compared to conventional shotgun barrels.
This evolution of the 828U platform marks the first appearance of Benelli’s signature “SuperSport” configuration in the over-under series, pairing modern materials with unmistakable Italian refinement. A brushed nickel-plated steel receiver, carbon-fiber wrapped stock and fore-end, gloss blue barrel finish, and nickel-accented trigger create a restrained yet commanding aesthetic; while Benelli’s ComforTech 3 and Combtech recoil-reduction systems are seamlessly integrated to maintain composure through long sessions and punishing conditions.
The ComforTech 3 system utilizes shock-absorbing chevrons that transform the stock into a dynamic recoil-management structure, while Combtech cheek inserts significantly reduce recoil impact to the face—allowing shooters to remain settled, balanced, and unwavering as the day wears on.
The 828U SuperSport A.I. series includes two 12-gauge models with 3-inch chambers, available in 30-inch or 32-inch barrel lengths, as well as a 20-gauge 3-inch model featuring 30-inch A.I. barrels.
