Remington Reanna Frauens Florida State Trap Championship Win

If there’s anything more heartening than writing the phrase “Team Remington” again, it’s reading that one of Team Remington’s women, Reanna Frauens, just took several top finishes at the 2021 Florida State Trap Shooting Championship. (A close third, of course, is seeing the renaissance of shooting competitions as the COVID-19 pandemic begins to wind down!) What makes it even more exciting is that Frauens did it despite the fact that trap shooting isn’t her normal sport.

Normally, Frauens competes in sporting clays, but clearly switching it up is a cinch for this dynamo. She swept the Ladies 1 Division by winning the Singles, Doubles and Handicap, as well as the Ladies High All-Around shoots.

Frauens, a college student, competes on the University of Florida’s shooting team. She’s a two-time Scholastic Clays Target Program (SCTP) Lady HOA Champion as well as a FITASC Lady National Champion.

“Congratulations to Reanna on her standout performance at the Florida State Championship,” said Joel Hodgdon, Remington Ammunition’s Marketing Director. “To be able to step out of her normal area of competition and excel is truly remarkable and speaks to her talent as a shooter. It’s great to see Team Remington performing so well and we support them all the way as they continue to compete.”

Naturally, given that she competes on Team Remington, Frauens shot Remington Premier STS loads throughout the competition. (Here’s another very heartening phrase to write: Remington is back in business and making ammo 24/7 at their plant.) Big Green tells us that those Premier STS Target Loads are part of the full lineup of competition-worthy shotshell offerings from Remington that are now being manufactured and landing on store shelves near you right about…oh, now.
