NRA Women The Armed Citizen Shooting A Pistol

A woman who had been in an altercation with a man outside a nightclub did her best to remove herself from the situation, and left the scene with a friend. However, the man caught up with them at the house where they were heading, and grabbed the woman. A struggle ensued, but the woman was able to retrieve her firearm and shoot her attacker. The man was airlifted to a hospital in stable condition. The woman was taken into custody but was eventually released, as the sheriff determined, based on witness testimony, that the shooting appears to have been in self-defense.
