A 27-year-old Philadelphia woman who was being assaulted drew her licensed firearm and fired shots at her assailant. The incident occurred at about 10:45 p.m. on a Sunday, when the man smashed the victim’s car windshield and charged at her, physically assaulting her. That’s when the woman produced her handgun and drew fire, hitting the attacker. Suffering from gunshot wounds, the man was taken to a hospital, where he was reported in stable condition.
