NRA Women The Armed Citizen Drawing A Pistol

Two men approached a woman sitting in her car and drew a handgun. However, the attempted robbers didn’t know that she had a concealed-carry permit and a handgun of her own. The would-be victim drew her firearm and shot at the assailants. The muggers fled and no injuries were reported. (Fox32Chicago.com, Chicago, Ill., 11/29/21)

A Texas woman exited her house and saw a group of men standing around her car. Two of them approached her vehicle and attempted to snatch her purse from the driver’s side window. The victim drew her firearm and fired two shots at the robbers, hitting one and causing the others to flee. Later she said, “It was all I had in my gun. I shot until I couldn't shoot anymore. I saved my life.” The man she hit underwent surgery and faced aggravated robbery charges. (foxnews.com, Houston, Texas, 09/04/19)
