A 27-year-old woman who was being physically assaulted by a man was able to pull her legal concealed carry firearm and shoot him, stopping the threat. Reports say that at about 10:45 p.m. the women fired at the man after he smashed in her car windshield, charged at her and began to assault her. Officers who responded to the incident took the man, 21, to a hospital, where he was in stable condition as of this report. The incident is under investigation.
