Woma Donates To Fallen Blue 2

The Women’s Outdoor Media Association (WOMA), known for encouraging women in the outdoor endeavors of shooting sports, archery, fishing, and hunting, recently presented Fallen Blue with a donation of $5,000. Fallen Blue is a nonprofit organization supporting families of fallen officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving and protecting their communities across the United States.

“Through our annual charity event, She Never Quit, we raise funds to strengthen those organizations who support our military, our veterans, and our first responders,” said WOMA Founder Deb Ferns. “So many fallen heroes are the breadwinners for their families, and often their loved ones struggle with finances after their loss.”

Fallen Blue allows those left behind to grieve without worrying about finances, Ferns said. “The importance of Fallen Blue’s mission touched our hearts, and we wanted to do something to honor those who gave everything. We are proud to support Fallen Blue and its mission,” she said. “A special thank you to the folks at Staccato for allowing our Board of Directors to present Retired United States Army Major General Mark O’Neil with our contribution of $5,000 to Fallen Blue in their booth during SHOT Show 2023.”

“After the loss of a law enforcement professional in the line of duty, their families are understandably devastated,” said Gen. O’Neil. ”With so few establishments providing resources Fallen Blue is a beacon to mourning families. It means a great deal that WOMA recognizes the cost police and their families pay to protect our neighborhoods, families, and communities,” he said. “We are very grateful for their generous donation to Fallen Blue and look forward to manifesting this momentum for programs similar to fallenblueheroes.org and thewoma.org.”
