Henry Repeating Arms has announced the release of the Mini Bolt Youth G2, a refined and thoughtfully upgraded version of its popular single-shot .22-cal. bolt-action rifle designed for youth learning the basics of marksmanship and firearms safety. The key improvement is an integrated feed ramp in the receiver, allowing for effortless loading and smoother operation.

Built with a corrosion-resistant stainless-steel barrel and receiver, the Mini Bolt Youth G2 is designed to withstand the wear and tear of training environments like camps, ranges, and instructional programs. Weighing just 3.25 lbs., it’s light enough to shoulder comfortably while maintaining the durability and balance you expect from a Henry. The synthetic stock features wraparound checkering for a secure grip and is available in both classic black and vibrant Muddy Girl camo finishes.

Safety is central to the design. The Mini Bolt Youth G2 incorporates both a manual thumb safety switch and an exposed cocking knob at the rear of the bolt. This dual-layer system provides visual and tactile confirmation before each shot, making it easier for mentors to demonstrate and reinforce responsible firearm use.

To ensure accuracy and boost confidence from the very beginning, the rifle features bright fiber optic sights with two red rear dots and a green front dot for an easy-to-acquire and easy-to-teach sight picture in a variety of lighting conditions. With an 11.5” length of pull, it’s proportioned to fit smaller frames comfortably.

“As a family-owned company and longtime advocate for youth shooting sports, we feel that it’s our responsibility to deliver the kinds of products that families use to pass down tradition, make memories, and spend quality time together,” said Anthony Imperato, founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms. “The Mini Bolt Youth G2 reflects that mission with every detail, and I look forward to hearing from families all over the country who choose to make it a part of their story.”

Henry Repeating Arms actively supports a wide range of organizations focused on youth firearm safety, marksmanship training, and hunter education, including the International Hunter Education Association (IHEA-USA), NRA’s Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program, the Youth Shooting Sports Alliance, 4-H Shooting Sports, Scouting America, the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation, the American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program, and many others. To further reinforce the importance of responsible firearm use, Henry Repeating Arms offers free safety materials and educational resources on its website.

The Mini Bolt Youth G2 is now available through Henry dealers nationwide at an MSRP of $335. For more information about the Mini Bolt Youth G2 and to find a local Henry dealer, visit henryusa.com.
