Congratulations to Team Hornady shooter Lauryl Akenhead for her performance at the Sheepdog Showdown, July 19-20, 2025, in Catskill, New York.
Akenhead used Hornady 6 mm 110 gr. A-Tip Match bullets in her 6mm Creedmoor to secure Top Lady and Top Production honors.
“The 2025 Sheepdog Showdown was a packed match that really tested the competitors,” said Akenhead. “The 110 gr. A-tip bullets were really hammering for me and helped me take the top spot in two divisions,” she added.
A-Tip Match bullets feature an aluminum tip that’s precision machined and longer than polymer tips, that moves the center of gravity and enhances inflight stability, resulting in tighter groups and reduced drag variability.
