From a Taurus press release:
Team Taurus captain Jessie Harrison has done it again, winning the 2026 U.S. IPSC National Championships and finishing ahead of every other female competitor in the match—regardless of division.
Harrison is widely regarded as the winningest female competitive shooter in history. No other woman has amassed as many championships or set as many speed-shooting records. She was the first female shooter ever to earn the rank of Grand Master in the United States Practical Shooting Association, and her trophy case spans five disciplines—IPSC, USPSA, Steel Challenge, NRA Action Pistol, and Cowboy Action—with dozens of national and world titles, including IPSC Handgun World Shoot medals and 18 Ladies titles at the World Speed Shooting Championships.
Her 2026 season has been a statement. In June 2025, in her first match back with Team Taurus—just three months after giving birth—she claimed her 18th Ladies world title at the World Speed Shooting Championships. This September she added the 2026 USPSA Ladies Open National Championship. Now she adds a U.S. IPSC National Championship, topping the entire women's field across every division.
"This match closes out the 2026 shooting season for me, and I'm proud to finish on a high note with a victory! The U.S. IPSC Nationals was both challenging and enjoyable, with stages that truly showcased the unique demands of IPSC competition. As one of six qualifying matches for the next IPSC World Shoot, this win also allowed me to secure valuable points toward earning a spot on the USA Ladies Open Team. It's a great way to wrap up the season, and I'm excited to carry this momentum into what's ahead," said Harrison.
