Federal Podcast Julie Golob

Do you love podcasts? Here’s a new one to add to your must-listen list: Federal Ammunition’s “It’s Federal Season,” with its revitalized format and content created by women, for women. Don’t be fooled by the name; there’s so much more to the show than ammunition—it’s entertainment, news and fascinating information, all presented by Federal’s talented ambassadors. Just in time for Women's History Month is Episode 31, “A Firearms History Lesson,” hosted by two experts who just so happen to be history-makers themselves.

The first guest host is Julie Golob, and if you don't know her name, you should! This dynamo has over 50 world and national shooting titles to her name, and represents some of the most prestigious brands in the world. But she isn’t just one of the winningest shooters alive today—she’s a down-to-earth, genuine personality with an irresistible sense of humor. In Episode 31, Golob invites you to sit down with her and a woman whose name you'll know soon ... Ashley Hlebinsky.

Hlebinsky is one of the nation's foremost authorities on firearms history. Over the past decade, she has worked in and managed some of the largest firearms collections and museums in the world. (Look for an upcoming NRA Women article featuring an in-depth interview with Hlebinsky!) With two experts in their respective fields on deck, this is a fantastic episode for historical perspectives.

For this episode, in addition to listening on the Federal Premium website or Talk North podcast network, you can also subscribe to Federal Ammunition’s YouTube channel and tune in for the discussion.

“Julie is one of Federal’s most respected ambassadors,” said Brian Anderson, Federal’s Marketing Director. “As a professional shooter, she is champion in many disciplines but as important as that is, she is a great role model for all shooters and we are excited to have her lead off the new podcast format.”
