Jalise Williams Colt Champion Lede

Colt's Manufacturing Company LLC celebrates a landmark year for Team Colt following a history making performance at the 2025 IPSC Handgun World Shoot in South Africa. Competing against the world's best, Team Colt delivered a defining performance that reinforced Colt's position as a global leader in competitive shooting, performance and innovation.

With the success of 2025, Colt enters 2026 with exceptional momentum and a powerful start to the season, continuing to build alongside one of the sport's most dynamic athletes.

Colt is proud to have Jalise Williams as a face of the brand. Young, driven, and relentlessly passionate, Jalise represents the future of competitive shooting while honoring Colt's heritage. She is defining the modern sport day by day, and Colt is proud to be part of that journey.

In 2025, Jalise became the first woman to qualify for a U.S. National Handgun Team. She earned one of only four spots after a demanding two-year qualification process competing against the nation's top shooters.

At the IPSC Handgun World Shoot, she competed through five days after suffering an avulsion fracture to her ankle on Day 1, demonstrating extraordinary grit and resolve. Her performance earned:

  • Gold, Classic Overall Ladies Champion
  • Gold, Classic Overall Team Champion

She also finished 14th Overall in the Classic Division, the highest placement ever achieved by a woman in Classic Division competition at a World Shoot.

Competing with her Colt Gold Cup Trophy 1911 in 9mm, Jalise once again proved the reliability, precision, and performance of Colt firearms on the world stage.

In a sport where women have historically been underrepresented at the highest levels, Jalise's accomplishments are more than podium finishes. They are milestones shaping the future of competitive shooting worldwide.

Through her YouTube channel, Jalise Williams Shooting, she shares an inside look at her training and full World Shoot experience, giving fans and aspiring shooters unprecedented access to the mindset and discipline required to compete at the highest level.

Champions are built through dedication, perseverance, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence. Team Colt proudly celebrates Jalise Williams' historic 2025 success as the company looks ahead to the 2026 year.
