A 23-year-old San Angelo, Texas woman intervened in an attempt to stop an assault on one man by another. However, the attacker then turned his attention to her, chasing her with a knife. The woman, who was armed, was able to fire at the aggressor before he harmed her, hitting him in the torso. The man, 51, was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his wounds.
