A woman met with a man who claimed he wanted to buy the Xbox she had listed on an online local marketplace. He arrived at her house after he got off work, but instead of paying, he pointed a pistol at her head. The woman dropped the gaming console and ran to her car. However, the assailant began shooting at her. The victim was able to draw her own firearm and fire at her attacker. The man was shot and fled the scene. Later, police found the robber being treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds. The man was arrested for attempted murder and armed robbery, and the woman is safe.  A man snuck into a woman’s house through an unlocked door and began attacking her. The intruder punched and beat her. However, amidst the fight, the victim was able to retrieve her home-defense firearm. She killed the attacker. The woman was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and no charges were filed.
