NRA Women The Armed Citizen Shooting A Pistol

A woman defended herself with a firearm against the man who allegedly had a history of abusing her. Police said they discovered the injured 29-year-old man nearby the scene where he was shot by the woman. The woman told police that she and the victim had been dating on and off, and that he had allegedly forced his way into her residence and chased after her. In fear for her life, the woman shot the man one time, strking him in his chest/abdomen area. After being taken to a local hospital, the man succumbed to his injuries. Local reports confirm an extensive domestic violence history between the deceased man and the woman. (clickondetroit.com; Detroit, MI; 11/5/24)
