A man called 9-1-1 to report that he was shot in the head. When police officers arrived on the scene, they discovered that the gunshot victim had actually been strangling his wife until she was able to grab a gun and defend herself. The victim says that her husband threatened to kill her and, fearing for her life, she shot him in the head. The man has been arrested on a felony assault charge, and the victim is now safe.
