A Texas man who was assaulting a woman is dead after she fatally shot him, according to local reports. The Grand Prairie Police Department officials said the man arrived at the home of a woman with whom he had previously been in a relationship, forcing his way into the home. As the assault was occurring, the woman grabbed her handgun in self-defense and shot the man. When officers responded to the home, they discovered the deceased man, 45, who later pronounced dead by the Grand Prairie Fire Department.
